About the role

Our Skilled Nurses provide specialized care to patients in orthopedics, cardiac, respiratory, oncology, palliative care, infections, neurology, and dermatology. You will assess needs and implement care using the latest technology as part of a strong interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, families, and visitors, fostering a positive healing environment.
• Perform treatments such as wound care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes, and peritoneal dialysis.
• Administer medications as prescribed, advise patients and families on treatment plans, and communicate changes in patient condition.
• Provide preventative and supportive care for patients' physiologic and psychosocial well-being.
• Oversee the CNA team, including direction, assignments, training, and contributions to recognition and evaluations.

Requirements

• Current Michigan LPN license and CPR certification.
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, or higher.
• High level of analytical abilities to create care plans, implement nursing care, and solve complex well-being problems.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative Care.
• Team player dedicated to supporting colleagues and achieving goals.

Pay

• Starting wages: $29.00 - $33.00 based on years licensed, plus $5.00 shift premium for 7p-7a, plus $3.40 Hero Pay.
• Night shift starts at $41.40.
• Yearly wage increases.

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends and some holidays.
