LPN or LPN-Graduate Nurse Resident - Surgical (PT, Nights)

About the Role

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of person(s) licensed by a State regulatory board to prescribe medication and treatment, or under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN). Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; consideration will be given for comparable education, experience, and successful licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or successful completion of the course within 30 days of hire.
• Other unit‑specific certifications as required.
• Current Missouri LPN license and compliance with all State Board of Nursing requirements.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lb on a regular basis.
• Prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.

Schedule

Part‑time, 24 hrs/week. 12‑hour night shift (1900‑0730).
