LPN-Nursing Supervisor-Assisted Living

About the Role

Brookdale Southside is seeking an experienced and compassionate LPN Nurse Manager to join our leadership team at a 317-unit assisted living, memory care, and independent living community. This role oversees day-to-day healthcare operations to ensure residents’ needs are met as they evolve, working closely with the Director of Nursing to maintain quality care, staff education, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day healthcare operations to ensure residents’ needs are met and quality care is delivered consistently across all shifts, including assuming Caregiver or Med Tech/Aide roles as needed.
• Supervise community-based licensed nursing staff, medication technicians/CMAs, and Caregivers, providing ongoing training and education, including classroom in-services and situation-specific instruction.
• Oversee and manage medication training, pharmacy management, medication supervision/administration, and conduct periodic medication audits and skills inventory checks per Brookdale guidelines.
• Share on-call duties as required.
• Ensure residents are treated with respect, dignity, and receive quality care as their healthcare needs change.
• Manage associate schedules.

Requirements

• Education as required to obtain state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN).
• Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Active LPN or LVN license.

Pay

Base pay will be determined by applicant’s skills and experience.
