Position Overview
The Licensed Practical Nurse protects, promotes, and optimizes health and abilities, prevents illness and injury, and alleviates suffering through diagnosis and treatment of human responses and advocacy in patient care.
About the Role
The nurse is responsible and accountable for compliance with all standards of practice and professional development as outlined by the New York State Nurse Practice Act, United Health Services Hospitals and Nursing Division policies, ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics for Nurses, and the Bill of Patient Rights. The LPN promotes a caring and healing environment for patient-centered care.

Compensation Range
$22.89 - $32.76 per hour, depending on experience
Education/Experience
- Minimum Required: Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing
- PREFERRED: Previous clinical experience in a hospital setting
Licenses/Certifications
- Minimum Required: Current New York State Practical Nurse License
- CPR Certification within 3 months of hire
