Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care to patients in various medical areas including orthopedics, cardiac, respiratory, oncology, palliative care, infections, neurology, and dermatology.
- Absorb and implement care based on patient needs under the guidance of the latest technology and interdisciplinary team.
- Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and advise patients and families on medication changes, treatment plans, and patient conditions.
- Perform treatments such as wound care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes, and peritoneal dialysis.
- Oversee the Nurse Aide team, providing direction, assignments, training, and contributing to recognition and evaluations.
- Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in interactions with patients, their families, and visitors.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as an LPN in Michigan or RN Registered Nurse.
- CPR-BLS certification.
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, or higher.
- Analytical abilities to prepare personalized care plans, implement effective nursing care, and develop solutions to complex problems.
- Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional, passionate, and innovative care.
- Team player with dedication to supporting team members and completing tasks.

Pay
- RN: Starting wage $33.15 per hour, plus $5.00 shift premium for nights, plus $3.40 per hour hero pay, yearly wage increases.
- LPN: Starting wage $27.15 per hour, plus $5.00 per hour shift premium for nights, plus $3.40 per hour hero pay, yearly wage increases.
Schedule
We offer 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends and some holidays. This is a contingent position.
