What We Are Looking For

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing within state of employment
• Provide direct (hands-on) nursing care, including medication passes as needed
• Thorough working knowledge of current care standards and regulations
• Comprehensive working knowledge of current medication regulation and law
• Knowledge of the requirements for providing care and supervision appropriate to the residents
• Experience in hands-on care of memory impaired residents is preferred, but not required
• Experience with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) is preferred, but not required
• Read, write, understand, and communicate in English with our Residents
• A positive and energetic attitude who will LOVE our Residents
• The ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day
• The ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds and perform two-person transfers
• The ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall
• Criminallly cleared

Be active in the department, assisting and leading the Wellness team and other departments in ensuring quick, reliable, and person-centered care is provided.
