LPN/Nurse Manager $3K Sing On $30.50-40 (Part Time)

About the role

Join our team at Cedar Trails located at 490 Urbanna Drive, Freeburg, IL 62243! We are seeking a Wellness Nurse Manager to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• In the absence of department heads, this position is in charge of the building.
• Affirmative leadership: Assist and lead the Wellness team and other departments in ensuring quick, reliable, and person-centered care is provided.
• Be available to help with call lights, requests for assistance from the team, and demonstrate a sense of urgency that puts the needs, great or small, of a resident first.
• Accurately and efficiently complete resident assessments, medical records, and internal documents, and file them correctly.
• Exemplify the core values at the heart of Arrow, ensuring each interaction with a resident is professional, caring, and ends with the resident feeling safe and cared for.

Requirements

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing within state of employment.
• Provide direct (hands-on) nursing care, including medication passes as needed.
• Thorough working knowledge of current care standards and regulations.
• Comprehensive working knowledge of current medication regulation and law.
• Knowledge of the requirements for providing care and supervision appropriate to the residents.
• Experience with hands-on care of memory impaired residents is preferred but not required.
• Experience with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) is preferred but not required.
• Read, write, understand, and communicate in English with our Residents!
• A positive and energetic attitude who will LOVE our Residents!
• Active role requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• The ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds and perform two-person transfers.
• The ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
• Criminallly cleared.

Week 1: Saturday and Sunday
Week 2: Wednesday and Thursday
Shift: 7:00am to 7:00pm
