About the role

As an LPN Nurse, you will be part of our skilled nursing team, providing specialized care to patients in areas such as orthopedics, cardiac, respiratory, oncology, palliative care, infections, neurology, and dermatology. You will assess patient needs, implement care, and utilize the latest technology as part of a strong interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of treatments, including wound care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes, and peritoneal dialysis.
• Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and advise patients and families on medication changes, treatment plans, and patient condition.
• Provide preventative and supportive care to promote the physiologic and psychosocial well-being of patients.
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, families, and visitors, fostering a positive healing environment.
• Oversee the Nurse Aide team, including direction, assignments, training, and contributions to recognition and evaluations.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as an LPN in Michigan.
• Current CPR-BLS certification.
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, or higher.
• High level of analytical abilities to prepare care plans, implement nursing care, and solve complex well-being problems.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering excellent, passionate, and innovative care.
• Team-oriented mindset, dedicated to supporting colleagues and achieving goals.

Pay

• Starting wage: $29.15 per hour plus $3.40 per hour Hero Pay.
• Earnings range: $32.55 - $37.55 per hour, plus $4.00 - $5.00 per hour shift premium for 2nd or 3rd shifts.
• $8,000 sign-on bonus.
• Yearly wage increases.

Schedule

• 8-hour shifts, including rotating weekends and some holidays.
