About the role

Our LPN nurses are part of a skilled nursing team providing specialized care in orthopedics, cardiac, respiratory, oncology, palliative care, infections, neurology, and dermatology. You will be empowered to assess needs and implement care using the latest technology within a strong interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of treatments including wound care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes, and peritoneal dialysis.
- Administer medications as prescribed by the physician and advise patients and families regarding changes to medications, treatment plans, and patient condition.
- Provide preventative and supportive care directed to the physiologic and psychosocial well‑being of patients.
- Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in every daily interaction with guests, their families, and visitors.
- Through kind words and encouragement, promote a positive, healthy environment in which to heal and thrive.
- Oversee the Nurse Aide team including giving direction and assignments, offering training, and contributing to recognition and evaluations.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as an LPN Practical Nurse in Michigan.
- Current CPR‑BLS certification.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, or higher.
- High level of analytical abilities to prepare personalized care plans, implement effective nursing care and rehabilitation, and develop solutions to difficult problems concerning well‑being.

Pay
- Hourly range: $32.55 – $37.55 per hour
- $12,000 Sign‑On Bonus (paid out monthly over 1 year)
- Starting wage: $29.15 per hour + $3.40 per hour Hero Pay + $4.00 – $5.00 per hour shift premium for 2nd or 3rd shifts
- Yearly wage increases
Schedule
- 8‑hour shifts
- All shifts include rotating weekends and some holidays
- Full‑time or part‑time available
- Night shifts offered
