About the Role

Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process under supervision or alongside a Registered Nurse, ensuring professional accountability and safeguarding patient rights and confidentiality. Coordinates patient care with other departments, manages high-acuity cases in a progressive care unit, and delivers compassionate, team-oriented care. Opportunities for cross-training and career advancement into ICU units are available.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care utilizing the nursing process under supervision or alongside a Registered Nurse
• Ensure professional accountability and safeguard patient rights and confidentiality
• Coordinate patient care with other departments
• Manage high-acuity cases in a progressive care unit
• Deliver compassionate, team-oriented care

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent education and licensure
• Current LPN license maintained per state requirements
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and assist with patient handling, including lifting up to 50 pounds
• Basic Life Support certification required; IV certification preferred
• Open to both new and experienced LPNs
