About the Role
Join a dynamic healthcare team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in an intermediate neuro trauma unit, providing high-acuity patient care under supervision or with RN oversight.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care, ensuring patient rights and confidentiality.
- Coordinate care with other departments and maintain professional accountability.
- Manage therapies such as lumbar drain, ventricular drain, vasopressors, Bipap, insulin, and Precedex.
- Participate in team-oriented, fast-paced environments with opportunities for cross-training and career advancement into ICU.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent experience.
- Current LPN license, maintained per state requirements.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and turn patients, with the capacity to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Basic Life Support certification required; IV certification preferred.
- New or experienced LPNs are welcome.
