Position Details

• Graduate Nurse Sign On Bonus $2,000
• Experienced LPN up to Sign On Bonus $10,000
• PTO Frontload up to 40 hours for full time experienced LPN's

Position Details

• 6D Neuro Trauma Intermediate PCU
• Includes a 16 bed fully monitored unit
• Provides high acuity care to critically ill post-operative traumas, stroke patients, and medical overflow
• Common therapies seen on 6D include lumbar drain management, external ventricular drain management, antidysrhythmic/calcium channel blocking drips, low dose vasopressors, Bipap and high flow oxygen systems, insulin drips, and precedex
• Works closely with Cardiovascular PCU and opportunities to cross train between departments
• Part of the Critical Care Cluster, which includes all ICUs and PCUs
• Offers learning opportunities and career path programs

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; Consideration will be given for comparable education experience and successful licensure.
• Licensure: Must have a current LPN license within the hiring state and meet all State Board of Nursing requirements.
• Physical Requirements/Demands: Stand/Walk most of the time on duty; significant amount of bending and stooping, as well as lifting and turning patients with assistance; push/pull/grip up to 50 pounds
• Experience: Must be a LPN
• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
• Preferred Certifications: IV Certification
