ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Affirm compliance with all relevant rules, policies, standards, and guidelines.
• Evaluate residents' needs as directed.
• Plan and implement resident care based on Medical Doctor (MD) orders.
• Evaluate care and communicate updates to MDs as necessary.
• Schedule and ensure timely administration of prescribed medications.
• Maintain accurate records of vital signs (blood glucose, temperature, blood pressure).
• Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, transferring, ambulating, toileting, and other needs.
• Monitor CNA adherence to MD orders.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Florida.
• CPR certified.
• One year of experience in long-term care preferred.
• Experience in Med-Surg or Home Health settings beneficial.
• Experience working with individuals who have disabilities or developmental delays.
