Responsibilities

  • Display a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
  • Coordinate, oversee, and provide resident-related care for assisted living and memory care residents.
  • Administer medications and/or treatments in accordance with physician’s orders and monitor for effectiveness and response.
  • Manage medications, supplies, and equipment, including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of items per policies and procedures.
  • Document care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
  • Notify the Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident’s condition and take follow-up action as necessary.
  • Monitor nursing personnel on duty during the assigned shift.

Requirements

  • Current Florida LPN license in good standing.
  • Experience in Assisted Living preferred.
  • Knowledge of Florida assisted living AHCA regulations.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Self-starter with a desire to be part of a team.

In accordance with Florida law (House Bill 531, 2025), this position requires Level 2 Background Screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.

Schedule

  • Full-time, benefits-eligible position.
  • Mondays–Fridays, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM with rotating weekends.
  • Schedule varies based on operational needs and may include first, second, and occasional overnight shift support.
