About the role
Provide safe and accurate medication administration, health monitoring, and clinical documentation in a senior living environment.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders, following the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
- Accurately document in MAR/TAR in real-time and support care plan updates.
- Monitor symptoms, report adverse reactions or refusals, and observe physical, emotional, or cognitive changes.
- Maintain medication carts, conduct narcotic counts, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Transcribe physician orders and support health updates (SHUs).
Requirements
- Active LPN license in good standing.
- CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Strong assessment, documentation, and observation skills.
- Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred.
