LPN Medical Service Coordinator

About the role

Lead with Purpose is an LPN Medical Service Coordinator position at Hertford County Jail, NC. The schedule includes a 3/4 10-hour Day Shift Rotation and EVO Weekend.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the medical service team
• Coordinate with healthcare providers and staff to ensure patient needs are met
• Administer medications and provide medical care as needed
• Document patient interactions and treatments in medical records
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare policies and procedures

Requirements

• Current LPN license in North Carolina
• At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR)

Skills

• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of jail healthcare protocols
