LPN Medical Service Coordinator

About the role

Lead a clinical team in providing comprehensive care at Hertford County Jail, NC. This position offers a 3/4 10-hour day shift rotation and weekend EVO (Extended Visitation Opportunities).

Responsibilities

• Directly oversee patient care, ensuring all medical needs are met.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
• Manage medication administration and record keeping.
• Assist in the development and implementation of health education programs.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress and care plans.

Requirements

• Current LPN license in North Carolina.
• At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience working in correctional facilities or similar settings.

Skills

• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in electronic health records systems.
