LPN Medical Service Coordinator

About the role

Lead a clinical team in providing comprehensive care at Hertford County Jail, NC. This position offers a 3/4 10-hour day shift rotation and weekend EVO (Extended Visitation Opportunity).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with healthcare policies and procedures.
• Coordinate care plans with medical staff and provide direct patient care.
• Manage medication administration and record keeping accurately.
• Assist in the orientation and training of new staff members.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress and address any issues.

Requirements

• Current LPN license in North Carolina.
• At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHRs).

Skills

• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of jail healthcare protocols.

Pay
