About the role
Lead a clinical team at Hertford County Jail, NC, providing direct patient care while overseeing the operations of the Medical Service Coordinator.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the medical service including medication management, health screenings, and patient care coordination.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing health assessments, and managing patient records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers and staff to ensure seamless patient care delivery.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and policies.
- Manage the scheduling and rotation of 3/4 10hr Day Shift Rotation and EVO Weekend.
Requirements
- Current LPN license in North Carolina.
- At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in correctional facilities.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
- Experience with electronic health record systems.
Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

Pay
- $18.50 per hour for 3/4 10hr Day Shift Rotation and $27.75 per hour for EVO Weekend.
