Job Summary

The Coordinator assists physicians and professional staff with delegated responsibilities to provide quality services to all customers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Affords assistance to the medical staff to help patients maintain health or promote healing.
  • Executes patient care duties with infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
  • Performs technical skills specific to assigned service area and other areas as appropriate.
  • Provides quality service to all internal customers.
  • Affords assistance to all support service areas, as needed.
  • Offers excellent customer service to patients, families, and internal contacts using AIDET.
  • Takes responsibility for professional growth and continuing education.
  • Takes responsibility and ensures quality, cost-effective patient care.
  • Takes responsibility for communication with all customers. Utilizes proper verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with patients, families, and other health disciplines to support the continuum of healthcare delivery.
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned.
