Family Practice Clinic LPN Medical Assistant

About the role

The Family Practice Clinic at CHI Health in Grand Island, Nebraska, seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, efficient, and empathetic.

Responsibilities

• Checks schedules and organizes patient flow.
• Accompanies patients to the exam room and updates electronic medical records.
• Prepares patients for exams/procedures.
• Assists/performs medication administration, dressings, and collection of lab specimens as instructed.
• Relays information regarding follow-up care and return visits to patients and families.
• Schedules tests and procedures as directed.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or Medical Assistant program (LPN or CMA).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification with American Heart Association.

Pay and Schedule

• Base Pay: LPN - $21/hr, CMA - $18/hr.
• Hours/Pay Period: 80.
• Weekly Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am to 4pm.
• Shift: Day.
• Remote: No.
