Role Overview The LPN Medication Nurse provides licensed nursing support in senior living environments, focusing on safe medication administration, health monitoring, and accurate clinical documentation. Key Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and the Six Rights of Medication AdministrationDocument accurately in MAR/TAR in real-timeMonitor residents for symptom relief, adverse reactions, and health changesReport refusals, reactions, and physical, emotional, or cognitive changes promptlySupport care plan updates through transcribing physician orders and conducting Service & Health Updates (SHUs)Maintain medication carts, complete narcotic counts, and ensure regulatory compliance Qualifications & Skills Active LPN license in good standingCPR and First Aid certificationStrong assessment and documentation skillsExperience in senior care or medication administration preferred This role is vital for ensuring resident safety, early detection of health issues, and adherence to clinical standards.
