Role Overview The LPN Medication Nurse provides licensed nursing support by administering medications, monitoring resident health, and ensuring accurate clinical documentation in a senior living environment. Key Responsibilities Include Administering medications and treatments according to physician orders, following the Six Rights of Medication AdministrationDocumenting accurately in MAR/TAR in real timeMonitoring symptoms and administering medications for symptom reliefReporting refusals or adverse reactions promptlyConducting Service & Health Updates (SHUs) and transcribing physician ordersObserving and reporting physical, emotional, or cognitive changesMaintaining medication carts, completing narcotic counts, and ensuring compliance standards Through clinical precision and regulatory adherence, the role ensures resident safety by preventing medication errors and early health change detection. Qualifications & Skills Active LPN license in good standingCPR and First Aid certificationStrong assessment and documentation skillsExperience in senior care or medication administration preferred This role emphasizes delivering safe, accurate care while supporting the well-being of residents in a compassionate setting.
