Role Overview The LPN Medication Nurse provides licensed nursing support in a senior living environment by administering medications, monitoring resident health, and ensuring accurate clinical documentation. Key Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments according to physician ordersFollow the Six Rights of Medication Administration to ensure safetyDocument medication administration in MAR/TAR accurately and promptlyMonitor symptoms, report adverse reactions, and support symptom reliefConduct Service & Health Updates (SHUs) and transcribe physician ordersObserve and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes in residentsMaintain medication carts, perform narcotic counts, and uphold compliance standards Qualifications And Skills Active LPN license in good standingCPR and First Aid certificationStrong assessment, observation, and documentation skillsExperience in senior care or medication administration preferred This role is vital in preventing medication errors, early detection of health changes, and safeguarding resident safety through clinical accuracy and regulatory compliance.
