Role Overview The LPN Medication Nurse provides licensed nursing support in a senior living environment, focusing on safe medication administration, health monitoring, and accurate clinical documentation. Key Responsibilities: Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and the Six Rights of Medication AdministrationAccurately document in MAR/TAR in real-timeMonitor symptoms, report adverse reactions or refusals promptlyConduct Service & Health Updates (SHUs) and transcribe physician ordersObserve and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes in residentsMaintain medication carts, complete narcotic counts, and ensure compliance with regulations Your role is critical in preventing medication errors, early detection of health changes, and safeguarding resident safety through precise clinical practices.
