Role Overview The LPN Medication Nurse provides licensed nursing support in a senior living environment, ensuring resident safety through accurate medication administration, health monitoring, and comprehensive documentation. Key Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and the Six Rights of Medication AdministrationDocument accurately in MAR/TAR in real timeMonitor symptoms, report adverse reactions, and support care plan updatesObserve and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes in residentsMaintain medication carts, conduct narcotic counts, and ensure compliance with regulationsConduct Service & Health Updates (SHUs) and transcribe physician orders Qualifications & Skills Active LPN license in good standingCPR and First Aid certificationStrong assessment, documentation, and clinical skillsExperience in senior care or medication administration preferred The role emphasizes clinical precision, regulatory adherence, and resident safety, contributing to a positive and caring environment for seniors.
