LPN/MA Clinical & Administrative Assistant

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage scheduling, appointments, and calendar coordination.
  • Answer, screen, and direct phone calls; provide information or referrals as needed.
  • Prepare correspondence, presentations, and reports; assist with planning and executing events.
  • Maintain organized and compliant office files.
  • Process mail and manage general office operations.
  • Handle daily financial transactions, including balancing and preparing deposits.
  • Enter appointment and insurance data into PyraMed.
  • Verify immunization records and place holds on student accounts as needed.
  • Update Banner system with charge account information and run Argos reports for account reconciliation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current Georgia licensure as an LPN or MA in good standing.
  • 1-2 years of relevant clinical experience.
  • BLS/CPR certification (or must obtain within 90 days of hire).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a diverse environment.
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Proficient in reading, understanding, and following written and verbal instructions; competent in using email and medical management software; self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized; excellent interpersonal and team collaboration skills; ability to remain calm and accurate under pressure; skilled in obtaining vital signs and administering injections; strong multitasking and decision-making abilities.

Working Conditions

  • Exposure to cleaning agents, PPE materials, noise, and potential biohazards.
  • May encounter unpredictable behaviors or distractions.
  • Physical requirements include lifting up to 25 lbs, standing/walking 20-30%, and sitting 70-80% of the time, with occasional bending, kneeling, and reaching.
