Responsible for medication administration and treatments. Coordinate the shift effectively and maintain proper documentation. Administer tube feeding and monitor vital signs. Contact physicians when necessary regarding resident care. Provide assistance with personal care and repositioning as needed. The unit consists of 40 beds with residents organized into two sections. The nurse-to-resident ratio is 1 nurse for approximately 19 to 21 residents.
