LPN - Long Term Care

WorkFit Medical Staffing is seeking compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team in providing exceptional care in long-term care facilities.

About the role

This is a full-time evening contract position lasting 13 weeks, with a schedule of 5 shifts of 8 hours each week, including every other weekend and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional nursing care to residents in long-term care settings
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor and assess residents' health status and report any changes promptly
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Maintain accurate documentation of resident care and health information
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards

Requirements

• Current and valid NY State LPN license
• Minimum of 1 year experience in long-term care nursing preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care delivery

Pay

$36.00+ per hour
