About the role
We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide professional nursing care in a long-term care setting.
Responsibilities
- administering medications and treatments
- monitoring residents' health status
- documenting care interactions
- supporting residents' physical and psychosocial needs
- collaborating with healthcare professionals
- assisting in assessments
- recognizing emergent issues
- counseling residents and families on care plans
Qualifications
- graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
- current LPN licensure
- experience or clinical training across the lifespan
Skills
- competency in IV therapy (if required)
- effective communication
- confidentiality
- teamwork
Schedule
The role involves working 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend and holiday.
