Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to residents recovering in a long-term care facility
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions accurately
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and rehabilitation exercises
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ensure compliance with facility policies and healthcare regulations
Requirements
- Current and valid New York State LPN license
- Experience in rehabilitation or long-term care nursing preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work cooperatively in a multidisciplinary team
- BLS certification required
