About the role
Provide patient-centered, whole-person care as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at a medical center. Apply specialized training to deliver high-quality healthcare, demonstrating compassion and human connection. Maintain compliance with licensing and training requirements, including annual in-service education and BLS certification. Potentially cross-train into extended care facility roles, such as MDS.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care
- Collaborate with healthcare teams and support patient needs
- Maintain documentation and follow institutional protocols
- Participate in ongoing education and compliance requirements
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited LPN program
- Alaska Licensed Practical Nurse license upon hire
- American Heart Association BLS certification upon hire
Qualifications
- Preferred: at least 1 year of LPN experience
- Ability to work effectively in a team, demonstrate professionalism, and adhere to safety standards
