LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - Per Diem

Role Overview: Provide urgent outpatient care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment with physician oversight, serving a diverse patient population including ages >1 year to geriatrics. Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment to prioritize tasks and deliver comprehensive care. Key Responsibilities Support diagnosis and treatment by obtaining patient history, vital signs, and preparing patients for examinations.Assist providers with minor surgical procedures and diagnostic tests.Collect, prepare, and document laboratory specimens and results for accurate medical records.Communicate with patients and providers to ensure timely responses and follow-up.Administer medications, vaccines, and perform skin testing under provider direction.Maintain a clean, aseptic clinical environment with proper setup and equipment readiness. Qualifications & Skills Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing.Ability to perform clinical support functions, including documentation, specimen collection, and patient care.Critical thinking, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Work Environment & Additional Info: Work occurs primarily in a clinical setting with flexible per diem hours.
