LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse Per Diem

Role: Inpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) responsible for contributing to patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation under RN supervision. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care including treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures.Assist in assessing patient needs and supporting the care plan according to unit standards.Support patient and family education, discharge planning, and holistic care addressing physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions and participate in evidence-based practice decisions.Mentor and precept new staff and students, contributing to team goals and unit metrics. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of a Specialty Training Program in Nursing (required).Ability to contribute data to assessments and support care plans within scope of practice.Strong communication, collaboration, and compassionate care skills.Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous learning. Additional Duties: Participate in decision-making, performance appraisals, and unit initiatives, ensuring compliance with policies and fostering a positive team environment.
