About the role
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Join a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing over 100 years of quality care and services to seniors in a Christian environment.
Responsibilities
- Providing professional nursing care to residents in long-term care under supervision of RNs, advanced practice providers, or physicians.
- Assessing residents, administering medications and treatments as ordered, and ensuring their health, comfort, and safety.
- Documenting resident interactions, outcomes, and care plans accurately.
- Recognizing problems, recommending solutions, and responding effectively to emergent situations.
- Collaborating with healthcare team members and maintaining effective relationships with residents, families, and staff.
- Counseling residents and families on prevention and treatment strategies.
- Performing testing, evaluating data, and supporting resident education and self-care programs.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program with an unencumbered LPN license.
- Experience or coursework in IV therapy/management if required by state regulations.
- Minimum of 400 hours of clinical experience or relevant work experience as an LPN.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications, competencies, and continuing education units.

- Ability to work flexibly across varied shifts, including nights and weekends, with additional shift differentials and premiums.
