Role Overview: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides professional nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting under supervision, ensuring their health, safety, and comfort. Key Responsibilities Assess residents, administer medications, treatments, and perform testing as needed.Document resident interactions, care outcomes, and maintain accurate records.Recognize problems, recommend solutions, and respond effectively to emergent situations.Contribute to resident education and develop self-care programs.Work collaboratively with healthcare team members and communicate effectively while maintaining confidentiality. Qualifications & Skills Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program; associate degree preferred.Valid LPN license with the State Nursing Board and/or multi-state licensure privileges.Experience or clinical hours across the lifespan; additional training for IV therapy if required.Competency in resident care, medication administration, and documentation.Ability to work effectively in a team, handle emergent situations, and communicate clearly. Additional Details: The role involves varied shifts, including nights and weekends, with differential pay for evening, night, and weekend shifts.
