Role
We are seeking a dedicated LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team!
Responsibilities
- Assess and implement interventions for resident care based on standards of nursing practice and principles of nursing care, in accordance with Federal, State, and Company requirements.
- Make daily rounds to see all residents to ascertain condition and comfort.
- Initiate procedures to protect residents from injury and infection.
- Assists DON and/or RN with developing, implementing, and evaluating plans of care to include, but not be limited to, recognition of spiritual, emotional, psychosocial, and functional factors.
- Encourage and assist with restorative care in self-care and group activities.
- Maintain hand-off communications with oncoming shift regarding resident care needs.
- Oversees direct care staff and ensures staff complete tasks and cares as assigned.
Qualifications
- Speak, read and write the English language in an understandable manner.
- Ability to apply principles of basic general math.
