LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) -Forest Hills

Responsibilities

• Manages the day to day operations of the health and wellness component of the community.
• Aid in medication administration and documentation for residents.
• Observe patients/residents under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications, etc.
• Maintain and record vital signs.
• Provide assistance as necessary with activities of daily living.
• Administer prescribed medications, injections, wound care, and other basic medical care tasks.
• Collect lab samples.
• Communicate with other members of the team, residents, families, and medical professionals.
• Work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

• LPN certification.
• BLS certification (preferred but not required).
• Familiarity with hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures.
• Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology.
• Perfect physical condition and stamina.
