Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the health and wellness component of the community to ensure resident safety and well-being.
• Assist with medication administration and documentation for residents in a senior living setting.
• Observe residents under treatment to identify progress and side-effects of medications.
• Monitor and record vital signs.
• Provide assistance with activities of daily living as necessary.
• Administer prescribed medications, injections, wound care, and other basic medical care tasks.
• Collect lab samples.
• Communicate with team members, residents, families, and medical professionals.
• Work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

• LPN (Required)
• BLS Certification (Preferred, not required)
• First Aid Certification
• Familiarity with hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures
• Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology
• Perfect physical condition and stamina
