Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the health and wellness component of the community to ensure resident safety and well-being.
- Assist with medication administration and documentation for residents in a senior living setting.
- Observe residents under treatment to identify progress and side-effects of medications.
- Monitor and record vital signs.
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living as necessary.
- Administer prescribed medications, injections, wound care, and other basic medical care tasks.
- Collect lab samples.
- Communicate with team members, residents, families, and medical professionals.
- Work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
- LPN (Required)
- BLS Certification (Preferred, not required)
- First Aid Certification
- Familiarity with hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures
- Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology
- Perfect physical condition and stamina
