About the role
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will deliver quality nursing care to patients through interpersonal contact. Your work will ensure patients attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. Responsibilities include monitoring and reporting changes in patient conditions, assigning duties, instructing, and providing clinical supervision to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
Responsibilities
- Deliver quality nursing care to patients through interpersonal contact.
- Monitor and report changes in patient conditions.
- Assign duties, instruct, and provide clinical supervision to CNAs.
- Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Ensure care aligns with Life Care standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Graduated from an accredited LPN program.
- Currently licensed/registered in the applicable State; must maintain an active LPN/LVN license in good standing throughout employment.
- One (1) year of skilled nursing experience preferred.
- CPR certification upon hire or obtained during orientation; must remain current during employment.
