Responsibilities

• Greets and prepares patient for provider examination and treatment.
• Performs general nursing care to patients.
• Affirms prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.
• Aids provider with procedures and properly maintains equipment before and after procedures.
• Engages in patient/family teaching to achieve the desired patient outcome.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program, or military equivalent is required.
• All required education is a minimum requirement. Higher levels of education are acceptable.
• LPN IV - LPN IV Cert - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure in state, depending upon designated work location upon hire is required.
• IV Certification - IV certified upon hire or within one year is required.
• Clinical\BCLS - Basic Life Support within 90 Days
• Non Clinical/DL - Driver's License - valid and in state is required if operating a motor vehicle for business purposes upon hire.
