Responsibilities
- Greets and prepares patient for provider examination and treatment.
- Performs general nursing care to patients.
- Affirms prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.
- Aids provider with procedures and properly maintains equipment before and after procedures.
- Engages in patient/family teaching to achieve the desired patient outcome.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program, or military equivalent is required.
- LPN IV Cert - State of Missouri or Kansas, depending upon designated work location.
- IV Certification IV certified upon hire or within 1 year is required.
- Clinical\BCLS - Basic Life Support 90 Days AND Driver's License - Valid And In State is required If operating a motor vehicle for business purposes.
Qualifications
All required education is a minimum requirement. Higher levels of education are acceptable.
