About the role

We are seeking a full-time 7a-7p Telemetry Tech to join our growing team at WK Pierremont in Shreveport, LA. The position involves providing constant surveillance of heart rhythms for patients on remote monitoring, including measuring and documenting them appropriately. Additionally, candidates must have current knowledge of cardiac rhythms and the ability to measure and document them.

Responsibilities

• Provide constant surveillance of heart rhythm for patients on remote monitoring.
• Measure and document heart rhythms accurately.
• Interact with patients to place or troubleshoot telemetry boxes as needed.

Requirements

• Pass an EKG test with a minimum score of 80% (including heart blocks).
• Current knowledge of cardiac rhythms.
• Ability to interact with patients effectively.
