LPN II - Hospital Clinic

Responsibilities

• Affords assistance during patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Collects and processes patient histories and performs routine laboratory procedures.
• Prepares specimens for laboratory testing and communicates results to both providers and patients.
• Provides patient education materials and maintains medical records.
• Maintains medical equipment and orders necessary clinical supplies.
• Performs other tasks as directed.

Requirements

• Approved Medical Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire or proof of active license/certification.
• E/MT (Emergency Medical Technician), NREMT (Nationally Recognized Emergency Medical Technician), or Paramedic certification.
• LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) certification.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of Medical Assistant experience preferred.
