About the role
Under the direction of a registered nurse, responsible for all identified nursing care behaviors within his/her span of control during his/her tour of duty and accountable to the Charge Nurse and/or designated individual.
Responsibilities
- Participates in the care of a defined patient population.
- Aids in data collection, plan formulation for patient care, and evaluates nursing actions' outcomes.
Requirements
- Graduation from a recognized Licensed Practical Nursing program and licensed as an LPN within the state of South Carolina or a compact state.
- One year of LPN experience preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
Qualifications
