About the role
We are seeking a Novice Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) with less than 12 months of experience to join a specialized training program. In this role, you will work one-on-one with patients in a home setting, gaining hands-on experience in direct patient care, vent/trach/g-tube management, and critical thinking skills. You will be partnered with an experienced nurse for real-time feedback, mentorship, and training opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Administer medications and treatments
- Monitor patient progress and intervene as necessary
- Document care and coordinate with healthcare providers
- Ensure safety and proper environment management
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Active LPN/LVN license
- Current CPR certification
- PPD or chest X-ray if applicable
