LPN- Home Health Administrator and Agency Liaison

About the role
AIC is seeking a Home Health Administrator and Agency Liaison with a background in licensed practical nursing (LPN) to support the Advanced Infusion Care (AIC) and Advanced Nursing Solutions (ANS) teams. The ideal candidate will have a full-time position within the Albuquerque, New Mexico office, working from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM MT, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities
- Receive, review, process, and reconcile HHA invoices for payment.
- Audit HHA credentials, patient charts, and other essential documents to ensure accreditation standards are met.
- Acts as liaison between AIC, ANS, and subcontracted nursing agencies.
- Assists with initial and subsequent surveys to ensure each office is survey-ready and accreditation standards are met.
- Facilitates smooth and uninterrupted daily operations of the ANS office.
- Works in collaboration with the Administrator and oversees home health agency services as delegated by the Governing Body.
- Maintains compliance with state and federal laws and ensures proper licensure for the Home Health Agency.
- Maintains agency documents for each employee and contractor to ensure proper retention requirements.
- Collaborates with nursing and nurse educators to maintain processes and procedures for credential verification.
- Ensures each patient receives the Patient’s Bill of Rights in writing.
- Coordinates and integrates services provided by agency personnel and contracted agencies.
- Develops, updates, and implements policies and procedures to support the provision of care/services.
- Shares knowledge with other staff members and works as a team.
- Answers telephones, prescreens, and directs callers to the appropriate associates.
- Takes and retrieves messages for various personnel.
- Assists nursing and OPS staff with administrative support when requested.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse certified.
- One-year supervisory experience in home care.
- Previous management and administrative experience preferred.
- Home health or home infusion experience is preferred.
- Knowledge or ability to quickly learn commonly used medical terminology.
- Flexibility and strong interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment, while also delivering independent results.
- Demonstrate extreme attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

- Knowledge in the use of standard office equipment such as computers, scanners, telephones, fax machines, and headsets.
- Knowledge in the use of e-mail and Microsoft applications.
- Ability to quickly learn the use of software such as Complete Patient Records (CPR+) program and phone line monitoring systems.
