Responsibilities
- Delivers patient care to assigned patients, providing care for clients as ordered including IV infusions, infusion pumps, and tube feedings under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Identifies, implements, and maintains appropriate teaching plans for patients and caregivers under direction of a Registered Nurse.
- Follows plan of care and collaborates with Registered Nurse regarding patient response to treatment and changes in status.
- Utilizes nursing knowledge in the administration of medication and evaluates its effectiveness.
Requirements
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)
- License Driver's License, State of Florida (Florida driver's license is required within 30 days of hire)
- Education: Associate's or Diploma Nursing
- Experience: 1 year Licensed Practical Nurse
Qualifications
- Preferred: 1 year Home Care Experience
