What You Will Do

• Administers nursing care to residents under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse.
• Affords assistance with treatments and procedures and carries out selected duties within the framework of the established nursing plan of care.
• Collaborates with the RN and contributes to the plan of care through collaboration and effective communication with the RN and other members of the healthcare team.
• Complies with established nursing policies, procedures and standards to provide safe, quality care to residents.
• Administers medications and monitors IV therapy as ordered and according to established policies and standards.

Required

• A current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of New York
• One year of experience or more as a LPN, but willing to help train the right candidate to further their skills
• Ability to communicate effectively in a fast pace work environment
• Ability to engage within a team setting
• Passion to learn, grow and develop in the nursing field

Pay Range

Pay Range: $24.00 - $36.50
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
