About the role
The Clinical Team Lead directly responsible for ensuring the clinical needs of each child are implemented by supporting a multidisciplinary team approach to clinical care. The position also oversees the engagement of qualified staff and ensures their effectiveness in delivering care.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the implementation of each child’s care plan and achieve the goals set forth in that plan.
- Implement clinical care according to best practices as defined by ChildServe policy and practice manuals.
- Document clinical care accurately, completely, and timely as per nursing standards and ChildServe policies and procedures.
- Equip staff to provide care; ensure staff are engaged and appropriately developed.
- Maintain the environment according to regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with management team to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Work with home supervisor and ICF/MC manager on budgetary issues.
- Supervise the team through effective hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.
- Ensure staff development to achieve high results and promote engagement and satisfaction to drive retention.
Requirements
- Pass a ChildServe physical examination at commencement of employment and thereafter as required.
- Be able to withstand exposure to childhood diseases and conditions associated with children with disabilities.
- Lift up to 35 lbs, be mobile within the clinic areas, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand.
- Maneuver within the physical work environment with some bending, stooping, reaching, and light lifting.
- Maintain a calm demeanor in an environment that can change quickly with elevated behaviors and different demands.
- Able to focus on details for long periods of time with regular interruptions.
- Work onsite with regular and predictable attendance.
Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in pediatric care and clinical settings.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and documentation standards.
